You are a firework

Hearing the song Firework from Katy Perry I noticed how true everything she says is. When I was a teenager the world felt a much harder and more difficult place to live in. I always felt like people were talking behind my back and that nobody every really heard me.

Slowly I grew out of my teenage angst and now just 3 months shy of my 30th birthday I see the world in a different light. I am indeed on top of the world and if you try hard and stay positive life can be much better.

So following last week's Twitter trend on tweeting your sixteen year old self I would say to myself:

"Don't worry so much about other people. Just be. Time will pass and life will get better. And YES you are slim!"
