Today I feel like a fresh stroopwafel (syrup waffles) for breakfast.
These syrup/treacle waffles are a Dutch delicacy. Best eaten warm so that the syrup is melted. If you don't have the fresh warm waffles just put them on a cup of tea for a few minutes and the hard syrup will transform to a heavenly tasty sticky syrup.
Damned diet !!! These look so good. I love this sweet. lately they are being sold in Malta too in packets.
