Leap Year Traditions

It's a leap year tradition in UK and Ireland that a woman is allowed to propose to a man on 29th February. The tradition also states that if the woman is refused then she should be compensated.

This tradition seems slightly out of times but at the same time it's kind of cute. In a world were we consider women consider equal to men, women should alo surprise their loved one and propose themselves.

At the same time, even though I'm quite feminist, I would love to be proposed instead of proposing myself!
