Why would somebody who doesn't have kids, like me love that kids have days off school? Just because driving to work is so easier. The roads are completely empty when kids are off school.
And who deserves to be working between Christmas and New Year you would say? I guess people who are going on holiday in 2 days time!

I totally get what you mean. It's the same here. not empty roads but significantly less traffic. I usually try to take the week off work between xmas and new year. This year am currently unemployed so i had more than the week off.
